      Eurail Services are very beneficial to U.S. students who want to tour Europe. It is a dynamic way to see a lot of Europe economically and comfortably. Riding on the rails throughout Europe is a relaxing and simplistic way to get around. It is easy to get on the Internet and plan a trip while searching for a Student Eurail Pass to travel to over twenty countries.

      If you are a student who wants to plan a trip through several countries in Europe, you can make your reservations on Eurail up to two months in advance. It is advisable to make reservations early and pay for the tickets in advance. The fares are less expensive if they are purchased ahead of time from a location other than Europe. Fares can range in price depending on how many days you want to travel and how many countries are going to be on your itinerary.  Purchasing your tickets before departing for Europe will not only be less expensive, but once you fly into your destination country, you can hop right onto any train that accepts your Eurail pass.

     There is not a specific type of Student Eurail pass. Students travel for a cheaper fare than adults, if the rider is under 25 years old before the first day of travel.  He or she can get a child's fare which is 35% less than an adult fare. It is also wise to pay $12 to get the pass insurance. That will assure you that if the pass is lost or stolen, you can get a replacement. The passes, once received, are just like money, so you don't want to lose it.

       For those holding a Student Eurail Pass or child's pass,  who are touring Europe, should pack lightly. When you ride the Eurail you will be responsible for keeping up with your own luggage. Sometimes there may be porter to help out, but not always, so don't take more than you can handle.

        There are many car rental agencies near the train stations which you can use during your travels if you decide you would like to drive on your own to see specific sights. However, Eurail does not offer discounts for this. Eurail also does not help with hotel or hostel stays, but you can check your destinations of travel on the Eurail website to get information about the hotels or hostels in those areas.
